It was a hard hitting affair as the Kings looked to close out the Devils in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final at the Prudential Center on Saturday night. Justin Williams knotted things up at one early in the second with his fourth of the postseason. But Bryce Salvador would New Jersey back in front minutes later. Salvador's soft wrist shot from the point beat a screened Jonathan Quick to give the Devils a 2-1 lead. However, the Kings would attack until the final whistle. Mike Richards missed the net with his one-timer from the circle in the final seconds and New Jersey hung on for the 2-1 season saving win. The series shifts back to L.A. for Monday night's Game 6.
