Charlotte Bobcats Fall to Blazers in OT

The Charlotte Bobcats gave up an 18-point lead with less than five minutes to go and were defeated by the Portland Trail Blazers in overtime, 118-112. Ben Gordon had a game-high 29 points.

The Bobcats looked to snap a three-game skid with a home tilt against the Trail Blazers on Monday night. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist's jam put Charlotte up for 17 early in the fourth but the Bobcats couldn't hold the lead. They at least had a shot at the buzzer to win it. Kemba Walker's fadeaway jumper wouldn't fall and we headed to overtime. However it was all Portland in the extra session. Luke Babbitt's third three of the night sealed the Blazers come-from-behind win, 118-112 the final in ovetime.
