Boston Celtics Lose to Houston Rockets

The Celtics were handled by the Rockets at the Toyota Center on Friday, 101-89. Rajon Rondo scored 15 points and notched 13 assists in vain for Boston. Paul Pierce scored a team-high 18 points.

The Celtics took their two-game winning streak on the road to Houston for a matchup with the Rockets on Friday night. Rajon Rondo set-up the trailing Jeff Green for the dunk of the night. Unfortunately for Boston, Brandon Bass can't throw down like Green. Omer Asik's block on Bass led to James Harden's breakaway jam. And the bearded one was a thorn in the Celtics side all game long. Harden scored a game-high 21, grabbed 5 boards, dished out 5 assists and had 3 steals in Houston's 101-89 win over Boston.
