Danica Patrick returned to her home state of Wisconsin for Nationwide's Sargento 200 at Road America on Saturday afternoon. Danica was in fourth place on the final lap until Jacques Villeneuve made contact on turn five and spun her out of control. Patrick ended up finishing in twelfth place. A funny moment occurred early in the race when Sam Hornish Jr.'s crew member got taken for a quick ride after his gas can got stuck in the tank. The crew member was fine and Hornish Jr. came home in fifth place. The man of the hour, however, was Brazilian Nelson Piquet Jr. as the pole-sitter dominated from start to finish. The former Formula One driver took the checkered flag for his first Nationwide win in only his third career start. Piquet Jr. finished 2.25 seconds ahead of runner-up Michael McDowell.
