Reds Bounce Giants, Leake Goes Distance

Mike Leake's career night helped the Reds rub off a two-game slide by defeating the Giants at AT&T Park on Friday night. Leake allowed just one run on nine hits while striking out four in his first career complete game. The 24-year-old righty connected on a solo shot off San Francisco's starter Matt Cain for his first home run of his career. San Fran's lone run came in the bottom of the ninth when Pablo Sandoval went yard for his sixth home run of the season, but Jay Bruce went 4-for-4 on the night including 3 RBI as the Reds topped the Giants, 5-1.
