The Brewers took their series finale against the fading Pirates on Thursday. Aramis Ramirez gave Milwaukee an early 3-0 lead with his first inning two-run homer, but Pittsburgh would rally. Clint Barmes' solo home run highlighted a three-run sixth inning giving the Pirates a three-run lead, however this game belonged to the Brewers. Rickie Weeks tied the game at seven in the eighth with his RBI triple and later in the inning Ramirez plated the go-ahead run with a single as the Brew Crew captured their fifth straight win, 9-7 over the Bucs.
