Los Angeles Dodgers Beat Mariners

Chad Billingsley struck out eight and allowed one run in seven innings and Andre Ethier cracked his fourth-career grand slam as the Dodgers easily handled the Mariners on Sunday night, 8-2.

The Dodgers knocked off the Mariners in the rubber-game of their weekend set at Safeco Field. L.A. starter Chad Billingsley limited Seattle to one run on two hits while striking out eight through seven to improve to 4-4 on the year. Third baseman Kyle Seager gave the M’s the lead in the first with his eighth home run of the season. However, right fielder Andre Ethier blasted a grand slam that gave the Dodgers the lead for good in the second as Los Angeles cruised to the 8-2 victory.
