The Yankees halted the White Sox's four-game winning streak with an impressive victory on Saturday. Hiroki Kuroda pitched seven strong innings allowing just three hits while striking out 11. White Sox starter Jake Peavy also sturk out eleven in eight innings of work but he allowed three home runs, the first courtesy of Curtis Granderson in the home first. Dewayne Wise had a good game, hitting an rbi double in the second inning and following that up with a solo shot in the fifth that put the Yankees up by three. In the sixth, Robinson Cano hit the final home run of the day to secure New York's 4-0 win over Chicago.
