The Indians late rally came up short as they fell to the Athletics on Saturday night. Bartolo Colon won his third consecutive game allowing one earned run on five hits in eight innings. Corey Kluber remained winless with an 0-and-2 record after surrendering four runs on four hits in five innings. Yoenis Cespedes had three RBI on the night, including a two-run blast in the third. Oakland tallied five early runs, before Carlos Santana came up with a solo home run in the seventh. Cleveland rallied back in the ninth when Shin-Soo Choo and Brent Lilliebridge each had two-run homers to cut the deficit to three, but it wasn't enough as the Tribe extended their losing streak to four with a 8-5 loss to the A's.
