The White Sox extended their road winning streak to eight with a victory over the Cardinals at Busch Stadium on Tuesday. Rookie left-hander Jose Quintana allowed a career-high ten hits over five-and-one-third innings but managed to limit the damage to one run by inducing three double plays. St. Louis starter Adam Wainwright also pitched well, he gave up two runs and five hits in seven innings of work. The Chicago bats, however, took over when Wainwright departed. Adam Dunn belted his 21st home run of the year off reliever Marc Rzepczynski while A.J. Pierznski added a two run homer off Mitchell Boggs as the White Sox used a four run eighth inning to beat the Cardinals 6-1.
