The Brewers dropped their 10th straight road game, their longest such streak since 1992, as they fell to the lowly Astros. Brewers starter Mark Rogers was excellent. He worked 7 innings, allowing just 1 run on 3 hits while striking out 8, but Milwaukee's bullpen faltered. With the Brewers leading 3-1 in the 8th, Francisco Rodriguez allowed a solo homerun to make it a 3-2 game, and in the 9th, John Axford allowed a walkoff single to Steve Pearce which plated 2. Axford's record dropped to 4-7 after the Brewers disappointing 4-3 loss to the Astros.
