The Orioles outslugged the Pirates in their Interleague series opener on Tuesday night. Wei-Yin Chen improved to 6-2 this season, he allowed four runs on eight hits over six and a third innings. His counterpart Brad Lincoln took the loss as he gave up four runs on nine hits over four and a third innings. Brian Roberts returned from a 13-month layoff as he recorded three hits and an RBI. Adam Jones, Mark Reynolds, and Chris Davis all hit home runs as the O's topped the Bucs 8-6.
