A day after Scott Piercy matched a course record with an 8-under 62 at the Hamilton Golf and Country Club in Ancaster, Ontario, Tim Clark joined him in the record books. Clark shot a 62 on Friday, and is just 3 shots behind Piercy after round 2 of the RBC Canadian Open. Piercy is -11 under after 36 holes and tied with William McGirt for the lead, and 1 shot ahead of Robert Garrigus, who nearly had a hole-in-one. Despite his near ace on on the 16th hole, Garrgius' shot wasn't the best of the day. That honor belonged to Bo Van Pelt, whose approach on 16 fell for an eagle. Van Pelt sits 2 behind the leaders going into the weekend after shooting a 4-under on Friday. Round 3 takes palce on Saturday and can be seen on cbs.
