Davis, Thatcher Share Lead at Travelers

Brian Davis and Roland Thatcher finished Rounds 2 and 3 of the PGA Travelers Championship tied for the lead at 12-under. Defending champion Fredrik Jacobson is three strokes back at nine-under.

After rain shortened the 2nd round of the Travelers Championship on Friday, the 2nd and 3rd rounds concluded from Connecticut on Saturday. Webb Simpson's approach on the 2nd hole fell 2 feet from the cup and led to an easy birdie. The US Open Champion is 7 under par after round 3, 5 shots behind co-leader Brian Davis. The Englishman carded a 29 on the front-9, with birdies on 6 of the opening 9 holes and finished the round 6 under. Davis is tied with American Roland Thatcher for the lead at twelve under par. The final round tees off on Sunday and can be seen on CBS.
