Tiger Woods Wins AT&T National

CineSport—Tiger Woods won his third PGA Tour event of the year at the AT&T National at Congressional. Woods shot a 2-under 69 Sunday and passed Jack Nicklaus for second on the all-time wins list with 74.

Another great round is in the books for Tiger Woods, who took home the AT&T National trophy on Sunday at Congressional in Bethesda, MD. This victory puts Woods all alone in second place on the all-time wins list with 74.

Woods, who many people had written off as done, won the tournament in true Tiger fashion. He scratched and clawed his way back up the leader board to take home his second victory of the year.

Tiger Woods has been one of the most criticized athletes in the world for the last two years.

He has also been in unfamiliar territory, fighting for his lost #1 ranking.

However, after a tumultuous run, Tiger seems to be finding his way back into his natural habitat.

He’s been playing some of his best golf in years, and with his revamped swing, will have a chance to break the all-time PGA Tour wins record of 82, currently held by Sam Snead.

The real question is: Is Tiger back?

Many believe he is destined to regain the world’s top ranking and resume playing like he did prior to his private life becoming very public.

His bad knee injury is also behind him, and with the help of a new coach and caddy, Woods looks like he’s ready to roar like the Tiger of old.

One thing is certain about Tiger: At 36, he still has a lot of golf left in him, and he is definitely capable of regaining the PGA crown and continuing to blow away the competition.
