Penguins Punish Flyers, Take Game 4

Jordan Staal recorded a hat-trick and Evgeni Malkin notched two goals and an assist as the Pittsburgh Penguins roughed up the Philadelphia Flyers 10-3 in Game 4 of the Eastern Quarterfinals.

The Flyers looked to sweep the Penguins as they teams skated in Philly for game 4.   Jakub Voracek broke a two-two tie in the first with the power play goal, however Pittsburgh went on a scoring frenzy the rest of the way.   Sidney Crosby scored his third goal of the series to tie it at three and the Penguins poured it on with eight straight goals to close out the Flyers in game four.    Jordan Staal recorded a hat trick, and Evgeni Malkin scored twice as the Penguins staved off elimination in the 10-3 rout over the Flyers.
