Nets Handle Blazers; Knicks 6-0 at MSG

The Brooklyn Nets defeated the Portland Trailblazers 98-85 and are now 6-1 at the brand new Barclays Center. Meanwhile, the Knicks remained undefeated at home with a 121-100 win over the Pistons.

Two of the hottest teams in the NBA play in New York City as both the Knicks and the Nets remained hot at their respective home floors. Brooklyn struggled through three quarters but found their rhythm in the final quarter as they improved to 6-1 at home after stopping the Trail Blazers 98-85.

Meanwhile across town at Madison Square Garden the Knicks routed the Pistons 121-100. Carmelo Anthony led New York with 29 points while Tyson Chandler chipped in with 13 as the Knicks improved to 5-0 at MSG. After the game Chandler spoke about heading downtown to tip with the Nets in their first ever meeting in Brooklyn Monday night.
