Kings Reach Final, Beat Coyotes in OT

The Los Angeles Kings ended Game 5 on Dustin Penner's series-clinching, overtime goal for a 4-3 win over the Phoenix Coyotes. It will be the first Stanley Cup appearance for the Kings since 1993.

The Kings looked to finish off the Coyotes in Game 5 of their Western Conference final series in Phoenix. Mike Richards broke the two all tie late in the second period, but Phoenix would answer back minutes later. Keith Yandle's first of the postseason knotted the contest at three, and it would stay that way until overtime. Dustin Penner scored 17:42 into the extra session to give Los Angles the 4-3 victory over Phoenix. With the win the Kings advance to the Stanley Cup final for the second time in franchise history.
