Heat Take Game 3, Poised for Sweep

LeBron James had a game-high 32 points, 17 of which came in the fourth quarter. The Miami Heat defeated the New York Knicks 87-70 in Game 3, taking a 3-0 series lead. Dwyane Wade had 20 points.

The First Round Series between the Heat and Knicks switched locations to Madison Square Garden for game 3 with Miami leading the series 2 games to none.   Carmelo Anthony had the Knicks rolling early driving in and putting them up 10 in the second quarter, however the Heat would storm back…  After LeBron James went out with foul trouble, Dwyane Wade stepped up for Miami and had them on top heading into the fourth however JR Smith would give the Knicks hope… Smith's dynamic slam got the crowd back into it however LeBron would take things over from there….  James poured in 17 points in the fourth quarter and 32 for the game as Miami pulled away for the 87-70 victory and now lead the series 3-0. Game 4 takes place Sunday in New York.
