The Mets crushed the Rays on Wednesday night thanks to their 37-year old Knuckleballer. R.A. Dickey improved to 10-1 on the season after tossing a complete game one-hitter and allowing just one unearned run while striking out 12 Tampa Bay batters. Dickey broke the Mets' record for consecutive scoreless innings while running his career-best shutout streak to 32 and 2/3 innings. Daniel Murphy, David Wright, and Omar Quintanilla provided the offense, combining for six RBI as the Amazin's cruised past the Rays 9-1.
