The Kings had a series sweep on their minds as they skated with the Coyotes in game four of the Western Conference finals from STAPLES Center. Phoenix captain Shane Doan roofed the backhand for the power play goal, ending an 0-22 drought with the man advantage to give the Coyotes a first period lead, then in the second Phoenix doubled their advantage.  Doan's second of the afternoon was ruled to be a good goal, leaving the rest of the afternoon up to netminder Mike Smith.   The 30-year old goaltender turned aside 36 shots to help the Coyotes avoid elimination with the 2-0 victory, Smith's third shutout of the playoffs.  Both teams return to the desert for game five on Tuesday night.
