Clippers, Bobcats Extend Streaks

The Los Angeles Clippers extended the longest winning streak in the NBA to 16 in a 116-114 win over the Jazz. The Bobcats hit a new low, losing their 17th straight in a 97-81 loss to the Nets.

The Nets handed the Bobcats their 17th straight loss in PJ Carlesimo's Brooklyn debut, but we start in Salt Lake City where the league leading Clippers extended their winning streak.

Chris Paul and Blake Griffin combined for 51 points as Los Angeles rallied from a 19-point deficit in the third to beat Utah 116-114. With the win the Clippers stretched the NBA's longest winning streak this season to 16 games.

Heading east, the Nets rolled past the woeful Bobcats in PJ Carlesimo's debut. Brook Lopez scored a game-high 26 points and grabbed 11 boards as Brooklyn increased Charlotte's losing streak to 17 games, 97-81.
