The Bobcats attempted to snap their 17-game losing streak against a visiting Hornets squad that has lost 12 of its last 13. Things looked good early for Charlotte as they led by 17 at the break. But things fell apart after intermission. Eric Gordon's game-high 24 in his season debut helped New Orleans take control in the fourth quarter. However, the Bobcats fought to the very end. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist notched a team-high 22 points to go along with 9 rebounds. And Charlotte actually had two chances to tie in the closing seconds. Ben Gordon and Gerald Henderson missed three-pointers and the Bobcats lost their 18th straight game, 98-95. Charlotte is one game away from a winless December.
